Ariodante – Opera

In Sala Principal (the main hall) of Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, it is a three-act dramma per musica, adapted from Ginevra, princesa di Scozia by Antonio Salvi, inspired in turn by Cantos IV-VI by Orlando Furioso by Ludovico Ariosto. It has been produced by the Aix-en-Provence Festival, together with the Dutch National Opera & Ballet, the Canadian Opera Company and the Lyric Opera in Chicago.

By Compañía Nacional de Danza, it is an award-winning ballet about the literary-operatic myth of Carmen de Mérimée-Bizet, under the gaze of the Swedish choreographer Johan Inger, who combines the immortality of this Bizet’s opera with the passionate personality of the character’s literary origin.
Una Oda al Tiempo – Dance
